Successful exhibition BAU 2025: ROMA confirms overall positive outcome

BAU 2025 once again proved to be the central platform for the construction and architecture industry. Romakowski GmbH & Co. KG used the internationally renowned trade fair to present innovative construction solutions and digital tools to a wide audience. With a highly frequented trade fair stand and a visit from the Deputy Bavarian Minister President Hubert Aiwanger, the trade fair appearance was a success.

Innovation with German approval: the roof panel type RD
The roof panel type RD, which was developed for the non-penetrating installation of solar modules, celebrated its premiere at BAU 2023 and received approval from the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt) on 18th July 2024. The approval confirms the legal conformity as well as the safety and functionality of the system and is therefore essential for demanding construction projects.

Due to the high demand, ROMA Insulation Systems is already working on significant further developments of the roof panel type RD. At BAU, the insulation specialist presented the clamps and corresponding accessories developed by our partner, SL Rack GmbH. These optimised components enable more flexible installation of solar modules and effective use of up to 97% of the roof area.

ROMA Panel Master 2.0: More precision for your planning
The ROMA Panel Master digital dimensioning tool has been extensively expanded. Version 2.0 provides new functions that make planning even more precise and efficient. These include the direct integration of roof overhangs and parapets into the calculations, simplified mapping of complex structures such as cantilevers and flexible load adjustments that take snow drifts into account individually.

These updates offer planners and architects customised solutions for demanding construction projects. Live demonstrations at the ROMA stand illustrated the new functions and enabled trade visitors to exchange ideas with product management. Interested parties can take part in a webinar on 25th and 27th February 2025, in which the ROMA Panel Master will be presented in detail.

Celebrity visit: Hubert Aiwanger visits ROMA
A special highlight was the visit by Bavaria's Deputy Minister President Hubert Aiwanger on the first day of the trade fair. Marta Romakowski, Managing Partner at ROMA, warmly welcomed the guest of honour and gave him a tour of the exhibition stand. They had an informative chat about the future of construction and ROMA's innovative solutions.

Focus on sustainability: New EPD in accordance with DIN EN 15804+A2
On Wednesday, Mr Florian Pronold from the Institut für Bauen und Umwelt e.V. (IBU) presented the new Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) in accordance with DIN EN 15804+A2 to ROMA Insulation Systems at the BAU trade fair stand. This certifies the transparency and measurability of the ecological performance of ROMA sandwich panels. With the new EPD, the company is reaffirming its commitment to sustainable construction methods and compliance with high industry standards.

BAU 2025 has once again proven that it is an indispensable meeting place for the construction and architecture industry - both as a platform for international dialogue and for the presentation of forward-looking innovations.

To summarise, BAU 2025 was well attended and has established itself as an important meeting place for international exhibitors.
