Cold-Store and Deep-Freeze Construction

ROMA sandwich elements such as type P panels offer outstanding insulation due to the use of PIR rigid foam as insulating core. High-precision manufacturing and an exact fit during assembly ensure that your cold-store or deep-freeze units are completely diffusion-resistant. This is partly due to the fact that ROMA does not mill the tongue-and-groove foam profiles of the elements before cooling is finished. In addition, the joint geometry of the double tongue-and-groove joints with a labyrinth effect in four ideal positions allows highly durable seals to be used. Quick and easy assembly means that your individual cold-store or deep-freeze units are assembled in the shortest time.

Polyester finish

Polyester coating is a smooth polyester resin-based protective layer suitable for applications in non-aggressive outdoor conditions.

This coating type is standard for ROMA panel exterior finishes. Polyester finishes are physiologically harmless.

Due to its polyamide content, ROMAplus is characterized by a slightly grainy surface structure. This type of coating is perfect for demanding outdoor use. Excellent resistance to a large number of chemicals as well as outstanding corrosion resistance and high surface hardness make it suitable for a wide variety of applications. Colaminat consisting of 10µm primer, 25µm polyester paint (SP) and 20µm PET foil (polyethylene terephthalate). The PET foil ensures a high degree of resistance to mechanical stress. PET foils are physiologically harmless. It is used only indoors.

Hard PVC foil

A polyvinyl chloride foil coating possesses extreme resistance to mechanical stress due to its thick 150µm layer. Hard PVC film coatings are physiologically harmless. For indoor applications only.

DU coating

With a thickness of 15 – 17 µm, this coating is suitable for indoor applications only. The colour of DU resembles RAL 9002. ROMA cannot guarantee an exact colour match.

Aluzinc

As special finish AZ 185, this sheet steel is coated with a finish of 55% aluminium, 43,4% zinc and 1,6% silicon. Its coating weight is 185 g/m², making indoor and outdoor use possible (marking: AZ185).
